چکیده
The ionosphere is the propagation medium for radio waves transmitted by an over-the-horizon radar (OTHR). Ionospheric parameters, typically, virtual ionospheric heights (VIHs), are required to perform coordinate registration OTHR multitarget tracking and localization. inaccuracy of parameters has a significant deleterious effect on target localization OTHR. Therefore, improve accuracy OTHR, it important develop accurate models estimation methods corresponding algorithms. In this paper, we consider variation with location spatial correlation ionosphere. We use Gaussian Markov random field (GMRF) model VIHs, providing more representation VIHs tracking. Based expectation-conditional maximization GMRF modeling propose novel joint optimization solution, namely ECM-GMRF, state estimation, multipath data association simultaneously. measurements from both ionosondes exploited estimate leading better which improves vice versa. simulation indicates effectiveness proposed algorithm.

Passive multitarget tracking with cameras
This paper considers large areas surveillance and 3D tracking with passive data, obtained here by geographically distributed cameras. The first step, at a camera level, is to detect moving objects in the video sequence and we propose a very simple, fast and efficient approach: a pixel level background subtraction technique to segment foreground pixels and a region level process where segmented ...
متن کاملMultiple Model Particle Filtering for Multitarget Tracking
This paper addresses the problem of tracking multiple moving targets by recursively estimating the joint multitarget probability density (JMPD). Estimation of the JMPD is done in a Bayesian framework, providing a method of tracking multiple targets which allows nonlinear target motion, nonlinear measurement to state coupling, and non-Gaussian target state densities. We utilize a particle filter...

Due to the current advances in technology, it is both possible as well as feasible to track multiple targets in a network centric environment. To this end, the development and the design of a network centric environment must be based on solid understanding of the theoretical foundations and should yield required performance in a control simulation. The paper provides an overview of various issu...

متن کاملPerformance Evaluation of Multitarget Tracking Algorithms
When tracking multiple targets using multiple sensors, the performance evaluation of different estimation and data association algorithms becomes critical in system design and global level coordination. One of the most important problems in tracking multiple targets is the measurement origin uncertainty, i.e., one has to deal with missed detections and false alarms when trying to assign uncerta...
